"(Byars) presents an action, The First Step of the Golden Tower, in which visitors are lifted onto a large card-board cylinder, approximately six feet high, and asked to utter signifiant phrases. (...) Byars designs a one (sic, in fact two) meter(s) long, one page "catalogue", for this exhibition in the shape of a tower. Dec. 6-31".
